Hello, Betsy! Happy Birthday! You're 22! How does it feel to be 22? When you read this again, you will be a day older - or a few hours older assuming that you'd still be scanning the news feed here. Because you are always so forgetful and stubborn, it'd be good to leave you reminders before you start living your 22nd year of existence. Let us start:You cannot control everything.  You may plan something to the very last detail but the outcome may not always be what you would expect. Chill, leave space for errors and welcome modifications to the original plan. Take life as it comes, you overly-controlling hag. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT OVERWORK yourself or you may burn out. You always feel that you can squeeze in more work in between life. Guess what? YOU CAN'T. Be kind to your body as it can only be efficient if it gets enough sleep and calories. Next: I hope you cure your chronic over-thinking illness. It gets in the way of life. JUST STAAAPH. Let go a...

A Day in the Life of Jane

Fiery in Red. Emcee-ing with Jzev during Senior's Ball I am planning a wedding for somebody. All the white lace and the promise of fancy cakes and ball gowns is getting me excited. And then I remembered you. An image that will always be you. You texting and calling people, pressing for urgency on undone invitations and hunting down MIA's, frantic but steadfast that any wedding must be fairytale-like. I do not know any other soul who will do the job as flawless and as sincere as you. It doesn't stop with weddings: debuts, rock concerts, corporate events, you name them, she'll be your girl. A fond memory of you was when you are holding the microphone, makeup kit in hand in the off chance of a photo shoot, cocktail dress at the ready, and a bottle of water to keep ev...

A Girl With a Story Must Write

Hi. I'm Betsy. Betsy Tee on facebook, look me up. So why did I start this blog? Hmmm, a friend told me to. And because I should have a repository of all the adventure stories I come up with; I have a lot of non-fic ones. Also, to gain fame and glory. Everyone wants fame and glory. LOL. My friend is right. "A girl with a story must write", so to steal a line from Peter Manseau's Songs for the Butcher's Daughter. Though the main character from that book was a boy, let's assume that the book was destined to fall into my hands for this very reason- so I would start a blog. Ayt. That being said, expect stories from here on out. But don't tell my mom, most of these she won't approve of. Cheers for beers. NOT SANTA'S WORKSHOP. Alegre Guitar Factory, Abuno, Lapu-Lapu City
